Biographical note

Born in Warsaw, on March 11, 1946. M.Sc.degree in physics from the University of Warsaw in 1970.
Since 1969 in the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research, Polish Academy of Sciences. Ph.D degree in 1978.
Postdoctoral fellowship in Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics in Garching, Germany from 04.1982 to 04.1984.
Habilitation degree in technical sciences in 1993. Since 2008 professor.

Experience: Plasma diagnostics, plasma spectroscopy, laser induced plasmas, laser material processing.
