International Conference in Konstancin Jeziorna under auspicies of European Materials Research Society (E-MRS) has been held every two years. This year is our 10th jubilee meeting and 4th in Konstancin Jeziorna. The previous Conferences were organized in M±dralin and Białowieża.
The Conference series is dedicated to technology, research and application of modern ceramic materials. Promoter and organizer of the Conference used to be prof. Jerzy Ranachowski.
This year the Conference is organized by Institute of Fundamental Technological Research Polish Academy of Sciences, Polish Ceramic Society and Warsaw University of Technology - Faculty of Chemistry.
Conference goal
The goal of the Conference is presentation of new, unpublished research results, theoretical and practical, concerning ceramic technology and materials engineering such as: ceramic technology, glass, composites, biomaterials, dense and porous ceramic materials, nanomaterials, piezoceramics, technological processes, research methods etc.
Organizers invite the Participants to present their research in the lecture/s form, without poster session. There will be avaiable computer with projector and projector for transparencies. Authors of the oral presentations, willing to use multimedia projector, should prepare presentation files in a Word format applicable for MS Windows 98 (or newer), recorded on CD-R or/and flash disc.Language
Expected Conference languages are English, Polish and Russian. For facility of the communication Organizers suggest preparing the presentation and lecture in English.

The 10th Conference will be held at 5-6 June 2007 in "Stańczyk" Hotel in Konstancin Jeziorna, Chylicka 79. Registration fee is 400 zł. Fee covers participation in the Conference, including conference materials. Accommodation is in double-room with full board inclusive.
Application
Attached registration form should be sent by post or e-mail until 20.04.2007. Abstract (max. 250 words) please send as electronic file (3.5" 1.44 MB floppy disk or CD-R) prepared in Word 6.0 (or newer) or by e-mail until 04.05.2007, according to submitted instruction in English, with key words.
Printing of the Conference Materials
Instruction for preparing the articles will be sent to Participants and will be placed on the Conference http page also. After reviewing, articles will be printed in Papers of the Commission on Ceramic Science - Polish Ceramics Society Bulletin / Ceramics. The articles (max. 8 pages) should be sent until 29.06.2007, in electronic version and printout (1 copy).
