workshop devoted to experimental investigation, modeling, metallurgy and

Workshop scientific topics and objectives
- Experimental methods for investigating SMA behaviour in complex stress states - Micromechanics of martensitic transformation - Macroscopic constitutive modelling of martensitic phase transformation - Computational aspects of modelling SMA materials behaviour
The target of the workshop is to bring together interdisciplinary community whose interests lie in shape memory alloy materials. There will be discussed fundamental research topics and those connected with engineering applications. Besides keynote lectures on selected topics delivered by invited speakers there will be created opportunity to present communications by the participants of the workshop or raise problems for discussion.
Registration
To register for the Workshop, please fill out the Registration form. The number of participants is limited. Acceptance for participation in the Workshop will be done on the time order of the obtained applications.
Registration fee: The registration fee is covered by Centre of Excellence AMAS. It includes coffee breaks, lunches and a copy of the workshop materials. Participants are expected to cover their travel and accommodation costs. The acceptance for participation in the Workshop will be done on the time order of applications.
Communications
The
participants of the Workshop may submit communications to be presented during
the Workshop. Communications should be submitted before May 30, 2001.
