Workshop objectives

Prominent researchers whose scientific interests lie in the subject matter of the Workshop delivered the series of lectures at the Workshop NEM-2001. Besides keynote lectures on selected topics delivered by invited speakers there were the opportunity to present communications by the participants of the Workshop and to discuss topics of interest.

The participants of the Workshop submitted communications to be presented during the Workshop. Reviewed and accepted for presentation, the communications were printed in the Workshop Proceedings. See also publications.

Workshop Location

The Workshop was held in Radziejowice Palace, situated about 30 km from downtown of Warsaw. The Palace, constructed in XVI century and modernized later, belongs to the Ministry of Culture and has been adapted for conferences. A great park belongs also to the Palace.
